NorCal Fire Scene Investigations December 2011 – Present

Senior Fire Investigator/Owner

Investigate fires of accidental, undetermined, and incendiary origin. Conduct file reviews for clients which includes reading of depositions, fire department reports, and organizing and understanding photo documentation. As a Private Investigator he is also able to conduct in-depth interviews. He has given Expert testimony as an Origin & Cause Investigator in many court trials and depositions. Over the past three years he has given multiple presentations for attorneys and adjusters about fire related material. As a business owner he is also responsible for all of the day to day business operations for Nor-Cal FSI.

Fire Investigator

A Certified Fire Investigator/Licensed Private Investigator working with insurance adjusters, attorneys, and other experts. Conducted test fires on many different products for flame spread and ignition capabilities. Some of his other duties included coordinated evidence examinations with other experts and attorneys.

He has conducted over 200 extensive fire scene investigations which included scene processing, interviews and interrogations. Arrested suspects for arson and worked with the District Attorney to prosecute. He trained Engine Crews on recognition of arson fires. He was responsible for training for the Stanislaus County Hazardous Material Team.
